Vs V6 - V8 Auto

Does any one know what mods need to be made to fit a vs v6 auto to a vs v8? can it be done?

take out the 5.0 and replace with V6 and it will fit lol other than that wont fit.

yeah allright....... but is it just cause the input shafts are different lengths? not sure if the bellhousing will fit maybe i can modify it? ive heard most internals and ratios are the same?
