Default washed and degreased engine bay now indicators not working

hey guys, i gave my engine bay and engine a good degreasing and sprayed with low pressure water. this is the first time i have ever done it and she come out schmick and shiny. went for a drive everything in it is all good but the indicator lights and now stuffed and the fuse keeps blowing. have change 3 times and everytime i turn the blinker i can actually here the fuse blow.

anyone got any ideas. hope it fixes up itself when the car has dried up a bit more but its already been a few hours and been for a drive engine has been warmed up.

any help would be much appreciated thanks guys.

if you have a air compressor blow out the fuse box and check if your indicators are full of water

    Hey mate,
did you cover the fuse box, altenator etc all the electrical components in the engine bay before you washed it down?

Water by itself will not cause a fuse to blow - you probably have dislodged a connector somewhere ....I'd check each of the front units and follow the wires.
Does it blow the fuse when you turn the hazard light on?

yea done all that covered alternator battery fuse box coils with plastic bags they were all dry when i took bags of them after cleaning.

just found out before change fuse again and did the left blinker that worked so i was like yea its fixed. BUT THEN i went to turn right did right blinker and off went the fuse it blew again. dont have air compressor so might wait and change it again in the morning

It nearly has to be a dead short in the right side blinker wiring that goes to the front and to the side indicator as well.Id say it been bumped or water pressure (even garden hose pressure )has caused it to touch metal or another wire, and short out somewhere.Start at each blinker on the right front and side and follow it back along its wiring to where it joins the main harness. It is most likely shoted out somehere along there, look for bare or chaffed wires..
