    Default Diff Gears

    Hey everyone!

Before i get blasted and told to search i have and haven't found what i was looking for!

I have a 5.0L VS Ute and was looking at getting diff gears, as far as i know it is running stock setup! The car runs at about 1750rpm at 100kmph so i'm happy with that, but i didnt want to change it too much as to make it run at 3000rpm at 100kmph but i want it quicker off the line, has anyone run 3.7's i've read on other forums they are pretty good but i know the people here at Justcommodores know more shizzah than the others hence the reason i am asking the question, thanks in advance!

3.9's in an auto will be about 2400ish
So 3.7's would probably be about 2250-3000?

In auto's stock diff gears mean you get 55kph for every 1000rpm.

    So 110 @ 2000, or about 1900 at 100.

2500 for 3.9's at 100 is somewhat ok, I thought it would be worse.
