hello,
i currently have a vs calais, but am also looking at a supercharged vs calais to buy
the one i went to look at seems to have slightly larger gaps between the bonnet and fender then my calais, yet the gaps are equal and the car doesnt seem to have been resprayed anywhere or had any damage
and my current calais is original so im pretty sure the gaps are original
my question is were these cars built with slight discrepencies of the gap sizes between bonnet and fender, and have others picked this up too?
cheers
I'm just guessing, but I'd say there should be no more than about 2mm difference between cars straight from the production line.
You really need to measure the gap as well...or have the vehicles side by side to be sure the difference does exist as it may just be an illusion.
ye true hako,
maybe colour plays a part too,
anyone else have any input?
