hi,my vs wont start and has ser error coming up on the dash.the fan and radio both still work but the central locking has also gone.any help or advice will be much appreciated.

Try checking for any error codes,heres a link that shows you how to do that.Let us know if you find anything. Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised) Theres some excellent pics that show exactly where and how to do this error check if you scroll down a bit through the posts in the link.

Check for fault codes bridge pins 5/6 on the Data link connector.
There could be lots of reasons why the car does not start PCM/BCM/KEY etc ect ect ect.
Check the codes first then go from there mate.

lol i know my car is acting up to but its only the rear demister i can live with out that

check your fuse box for over heated fuse holders and poor connections of the terminals .
