Yeah its just the globes. There really shocking for it in commodores. I just replaced mine a few months ago, and already the temp light is blown (well, theres 3 lights, the right hand one is gone) Seems to always be from right to left that they fail.

You said you checked all the fuses......
Did you actually CHANGE the fuse, or just inspect it? because sometimes they are blown but it isn't visible.

It sounds like a bad connection somewhere, try hitting the top of the dash and see if they flicker on at all.Other than that you can check the wiring under the dash especially the plugs and connectors that come from the light switch. Also these dashes can get bad/broken contacts behind them on the printed circuit boards.
I had something short out, and it blew all the globes around the central area. So it's worth checking.
thanks for all the help guys i had a look today and yea all the globes are blown i tried to think back to what could of coursed it and the other day i blew the cigarette ligher fuse that must of some how caused it
without the advice i wouldnt of even checked the globes so yous have saved me some cash thanks again fellas

Get yourself LED's for replacements... not the single ones, but the LED 'globes' that have 6 led's in each globe. They're heaps brighter and last for years... get the white ones... blue ones will make your needles hard to see at night and the red zones will be almost invisible.
You can order them from this ebay seller, I bought mine from him and he ships stuff really quickly. Check out the link below:
