    Unhappy vs workshop manual

    PLease anyone with a vs series 2 manual i need the free spring specs for the reilief valve in the oil pump

    in the oil pump section it should tell u the min length for the relief valve spring

    ok so i hope one of these helps ya,
    regulator valve to bore clearance: 0.038-0.076mm
    inner gear tip to outer race clearance: 0.15mm max
    outer race to pump housing clearance; 0.025-0.090mm

    they will if i end up havin to pull of the oil pump , it should give u the min tolerance for the relief valve spring too vn and vp are different vp is 66.3 mm ,mine is at 65.75 if vs the same as vp its shot an thts my drama , i just dont want to strech it too far otherwise the relief valve wont function an ill blow gaskets left right an centre

    ah just reading ur post again it looks like they are callin the relief valve the regulator , does it say anything about the regulator spring , im gettin desperate i have the car in the paper tomorow morn an ive bugger all oil pressure

    it wont help idle pressure even if you do stretch it unless its miles to short should be well longer than vn s1 and a bit longer than VP there is a thread on here about lengths ill find it

    Well im near a good mil short on the vp thts enough for a vp to lose it at idle

    thread i was thinking of didnt have VS spring length only vn and vp both fit either just make it slightly longer than vp its going to shrink fast anyway unless you have an oxy and can retemper it after stretching My NZ VN V6
