    Talking 1st brake down in the ss..

    the ss broke down today for the 1st time.. not far from home so rang a mate and got towed back.
    No spark so was either going to be the ignition module or coil.. turned out to be the coil had shit its self... changed the coil and shes running a treat again. The old coil had a split in it.. what on earth was holden thinking putting the coil on the back of the motor where its impossible to get to!! The new one is now attached to the fire wall.

    Going to order a brand new coil, are the MSD ones worth paying extra for or should i just stick to bosh?

    Is anyone running a MSD coil???

    Yeah I've been wondering about MSD Coils as well..

    Suggestions?

    i had an msd coil didnt quite relise the different.
    jase will say now that we conplain and changing the coil in the back of the motor is piss easy. i recently changed to the bosch and had no problems either way

    i dont have an 8 but on my 6 i got the 3 msd coils, wasnt a huge difference, smoother running, little bit more poke nothing major that was over a year ago and still going perfect

    Now Saving for a Harrop HTV2300 Supercharger kit!
