can i fit 215/75 tyres on a 15 inch rim on my ute? (clearance for big rims)

this will seem a really odd thing to be asking, but i need more off road orentated tyres for my ute. this is because i like to go mountain biking, and mx/enduro riding and i just cant get to some of the spots i want to because i have no grip (and ground clearance).

now the thing is, i can get light truck tyres in an agressive style, but the smallest seem to be 215/75 in a 15 inch. i have a feeling that i would run into problems with clearance around the front strut area, but i'm not sure.

i suppose this is the same problem that a lot of people have when they want to run big chrome wheels, so anyone that can tell me the biggest size rims and tyres on a vs, that would probably help.

i have 235/45 in a 17 inch at the moment.

if this helps i had 19 inch tyre with a 35 profile and there was about a fingers gap between the top of the tyre and the bottom of the strut spring.

umm it was pretty wide it was a 245 absolute max in my opinion. those wheels are gone now anyway they were a little silly really.
