lookin for some advice

[gotaquestion]

ive got a series 3 vs ute and its got a coolant leak at the front of the motor. not from the timing cover but behind that. on the large plate that bolts to the block directly. im wonderin whats involved in changing the gasket. what tools i need, what its called would b nice to know also. also any instructions/ warning. thanks for the help

Sounds like the inlet manifold/valley cover gasket has gone which is fairly common - there may be a "how-to" so I'd look first there otherwise do a search.
For this sort of job you really need a Gregorys workshop manual - unless you have the book it's very easy to stuff something up.
