black door strip removal

just wondering how and if you cant take off the black door strip which surrounds the windows separating the body and door.
Just looking to put in a chrome strip but first wanted to see if i could remove it

i think he is talking about the chrome strips that the berlinas/calais have and the black strips on the execs ect. not the door moulds/trolley strips

there should be 1-2 screws at the ends per strip, get access behind them then from there just pry them off as the are only clipped on

o thanks guys so all it is,is the screws exposed when you open the door and the rest just clips off?

how do u pull the section surrounding the small back window?..do u have to remove the window

the little window at the back needs to be fully removed and replaced with one with the chrome outing.

yer did it in my wagon, the rear window had to be removed also but i kept the same window and swapped the chrome over as i had tint
