    Default Debadge - Quickie

Hey guys just a quick one, i have been reading around and seen the how to debadge your car thread but i was just wondering, from looking at the pictures below do you think i should be ok removing the badges without it leaving any marks? I have some paint cleaner/swirl remover and wax if it helps and have been thinking long and hard about removing em but would h8 for it to leave a mark etc.

Also it looks to me that the right hand side one has thicker double sided tape under it so am i right by guessing that the previous owner probably stuck it down?

Pics are fair average and dusty lol.

    Thanks
    Matt.

Hard to tell really. I took mine off, the V6 badges didnt leave any marks, but the Acclaim badge did leave a feint outline. But my car is a lighter colour, so it may be different on a darker car, you will probably have the paint be darker where the badge was because the rest of the paint will have faded. But I think give it ago.
I got a hairdryer, heated it up then just peeled all the tape off slowly and using metho.
    Good luck

Like a mark where it was darker because it hadn't faded or? Did you use any paint cleaner/cut/polish/wax?

I guess i can try and if its no good just get some double sided type and stick em back on.

Im guessing thats what they use from factory? Just paint it and then stick the badges on?
