Search for LS1 VS, and or wait for someone else to chime in, end answer is a hell of a lot, LS1 is a biatch so i presume LS2 would be the same or worse. Alotta $$$ and time etc.

not worth the money, as said for that cash you could buy a much newer car already equipped with a 6.0

i got a couple mates that can help me get an engine in the car i just need a low maintenance engine that i can look after wen its finally in so i dnt have to keep going back to my mates for help, obviously some they will fit in nicely without the massive cost

In the end it is up to u. I have driven a VZ Clubsport R8 with the LS2 6 Speed and I loved everything about that car and the LS2 is a great engine, even with a LS2 in a VS of course it will perform like the Clubsport but just wouldn't ever feel as smooth or sporty.
