2.5" catback system straight through with centre muffler. << That's what I told them/asked for and got it for $260 fitted and all at 'Fat Pipes'. 'A1' will do it for $280 as well.

    Tips cost from $20 - $100.

Also for sound ideas, search in the forums for 'V6 Exhaust' and there is a thread full of vids for an idea of sound. If this rainy weather stops I'll post a vid of mine later on, put it is rainin alot... haha

I read it as a series 2 VS, which there were. I know he said it was a V6 twice, but I don't think he was saying it is a series 2 V6 engine.

Ah thanx for the help fellas, yer im located out the bush near mildura, vic.
So it sounds like a redback 2.5 inch will be the go then, whats the legalalities of no rear resi? So that means: it will be cats -> muffler -> straight out?

Sorry i could have reworded my original post a bit better, and yes i know its a ecotec, as stated i said v6 twice.
Im a apprentice diesel mechanic so i should be able to chuck it on the hoist a work and be done in no time them.

    thanx for the help.

I can ship a 2 1/2" cat back system to you for $235. Manta is the brand, same as Redback. Front straight through muffler, no rear resi.

I'm not sure of the legalities in Victoria, but being out near Mildura I wouldn't think it would be a problem. 80% of cars with sports systems only run one muffler.
