G'day guys you prob know about this one but my staty with near 210,000 ks has just done the power steering apparently there is a plastic backup washer in the rack that has a shelf life of about 180,000 ks before it starts to disintergrate when it does it puts bits of plastic up through the pump killing it and through the lines, not a nice way to go into a long w/end. If you have got one of these then may i suggest that you fit a filter on the return hose to the pump a least then you may save the pump and the pressure line sure wish i had one
