Yes there is 2 different sorts. One for IRS one for live axle. Does it have an aftermarket exhaust system on now? If you go to any decent exhaust shop they should be able to pick out a system that you will like.

Nah the exhaust ive got at the moment is stock. the mufflers are shot tho, although it sounds pretty beefy for a V6, it gets somewhat annoying.
what kinda prices am i looking at to get a new system fitted?
is it hard to fit it yourself?

no ur mates ford dosnt sound like a 5L buddy dont ever use that kind of language on this site and u need to buy a set of extractors before u start geting any kind of decent note out of a 3.8L the orig headers are like 1 1/2" inches each they are piss poor for a note but better on fuel economy etc... so moral of story is ford will never sound like a real holden 5L and u need extractors
