Hi Guys,
I've just bought a VS, S pack. A '96 model, so I think it is a series one. Can someone tell me whether there should be an automatic boot release (activiated by the keys) on this model? I have two keys that came with the car, neither of which have a boot release button.
I'm thinking that the previous owner has removed the automatic boot release and replaced the keys with a 2 button model, rather than the three button model?
Is anyone able to shed some light on this?
Regards,
Tallmandan.
My VS executive has not got the 3 button key or the remote boot release, just the boot release lever by the drivers seat next to the fuel filler door lever. The higher level cars like the calais might have had them though,or it might have been an option on all models.Someone here will be able to shed some more light on it.
Mine is the same as Bretts - 2 button remote and manual boot release lever. I wouldn't feel bad about it as quite a few problems posted on this forum relate to the electronic 'features' found in the more luxurious versions of the poverty pack Executive.
Welcome to the forum.
ive got a series 1 vs berlina and it has the boot release button on the key, id say it would of only been on the calais and berlinas ect
doin skids for the kids and doughnuts for the grown ups
Tallmandan...the S is based on the base model so it won't come with the remote boot release. Yours hasn't been changed.
