Default No Gears + No Tranny Fluid

Just blew the line to the stock trannny cooler on my VR Acclaim losing all my Auto Fluid, andf now i have loat all gears, wondering if no fluiod would be the cause of this and if so how much fluid does it need to get gears back?

yes it will be the cause, no fluid = no pressure = no gears

it will need what ever the amount you lost replacing before it will move again. with the car running and in park check the level on the dipstick

    21. No movement in any gear: pump failure, or total loss of fluid. R&R, or refill pan
and find the leak. If out of fluid, avoid running the engine until the trans is refilled to avoid
pump damage. To check for pump failure, check fluid level with the engine off, then start
the engine and recheck fluid level. If level does not go down when engine is running, the
    pump is broken.

didnt he just say he blew a tranny line?? so the pump will be fine (so long as it wasnt ran dry) and he knows where the leak is....

happened to me too, the problem is were you driving for a bit and realised it was slipping like in neutral before you stopped? if so you may have caused some damage driving with low fluid... certainly happened in my case, once it was refilled it seemed fine but started slipping on kickdown bigtime (flaring on 3-2 downshift, and also really slurred upshifts when not at full throttle)
