Hi all, very first post on this forum haha, so bare with me.
Yeah i got a 94 VR and with my A/C when i turn it on, the fan is really loud on 3, but i can't here it on 1 and 2, on 3 it makes like a humming noise, sounds like leaves are stuck in it or something, or could it be a broken fin? the fan is louder on 4, but i dont think it even comes on at 1 and 2, because its not even cold. only cold on 3 and 4.
Fixes/ideas would be greatly appreciated

Oh, it's my first car, but it's unusally loud, but awsome A/C but.![]()
ahhk. righteo.
*takes off pants...*
Re: leaf stuck in your fan, this happens quite often with these cars. Remove your glove box and have a poke around, you'll find the fan. Reach inside and pull out leaves. Will become obvious what to do as you go along.
If you can't hear it on 1 and 2 AND IT ISN'T BLOWING AIR, your fan speed resistor will need replaced.
If you can't hear it on 1 and 2 BUT IT IS blowing air out of the vents, it's fine.

its is a pain in the a** but sometimes if your lazy and put up with it on high for a couple of minutes it goes away :P does anyone know if there are any filters etc. available to stop things getting caught in there?
No probs glad to help out
Just clean the intake for it, keep leaves and shit out of your plenum under the windscreen, at the sides there where your bonnet hinges are I think is the intake on VN-S. Shitty design but I didn't invent it![]()
