If all else fails check the driveshaft alignment. A specialist would have to do this as you need a 'driveline inclinometer'. From memory this procedure is in the factory workshop manual. I think there are different lenghts of rear lower control arms to correct the angles if they are out. (im assuming a 5link rear end)
Could it be a worn uni joint throwing the tailshaft out of balance?
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Are the left and right front tyre pressures the same? A variance will cause a vibration...
Worn shocks/struts can also cause a vibration....

Also a long shot, but a similar issue happened to a mate of mine's car, but it was at lower speeds it felt bumpy/vibrations as though a wheel was wobbling... problem was the wheel nuts were on the wrong way around (the pointy end that digs into the wheel was facing outwards) allowing vibration/movement....

I think my shocks are slowly dying a death. It gets a bit floaty at highway speeds, especially at 120ish.

I intend to replace them with Koni adjustables.

    Unbelievable.

Ive just noticed similar issues with mine, got new rims on it 2 weeks ago, 1 week ago I gave a kerb in a frikkin carpark a fairl good thump with front left pass. wheel - 1 week old after never scraping a rim in years!! - $150 repair job there but thats another matter
I was on the freeway today and 95KM/H + the steering wheel starts to vibrate....pretty sure its the first time Ive been on f/way and that speed since the rims went on....just wondering if whacking the frikkin kerb in the carpark might cause the vibrations......i checked the locknuts and theyre all randomly place on each wheel so might try the opposite the valve theory

Trty swapping the front wheels for the rear - the tyre itself may be internally damaged.
