    Question Respray recommendations???

hi, in the process of getting my clubby resprayed same colour.
general condition pretty good just want a refreshened look, remove all stone chips and scratches and need to change colour of wing as it is not same as body.
    Been quoted:
    $5000 (backyard)-Sydney
    $4500 (in shop)-Port macquarie

anyone recommend a place in sydney that does good work in a shop?
i can expect it to be round the $4000 mark but if i can get that price here in sydney instead of port macquarie it would be more convenient.

    cheers for any input.

$4000 is not very exspensive for a full body respray mate. $4000 is a good price imo considering they are doing all the prep, masking, spraying etc.

Over here in WA people are advertising in the local paper for standard re sprays of the same colour, with no panel beating........$500 - $1500..........

    When i read the $4 - $5g further up, i was like.......OMG.

Is it a state thing maybe?

is that for 2PAC? shit good @pac can cost up to that just for paint and reducer etc.
I know an old bloke on central coast who does cash resprays (and he is a qualifed spray painter) cheap.
he's doing full respray in 2pac for me for $1200 but i am suppling paint.
is it solid or a metallic?

i wont use anything but 2pac.. acrylic paint is shite..

basecoat/colour alone can cost anywhere from $100-$500 a Ltr and you will need between 2.5-4Ltrs depending on the opacity of the colour
Then you have your clear/hardner/thinner/primer etc
