Exhaust noise

Hey guys i have a 2 1/2 inch cat back exhaust on my VR V6 5 speed but it still has a bit of rattle/ping when you accelerate. I have also replaced the exhaust manifold so not sure what else could be problem. Any ideas where i should be looking I thought after I got the cat back and other things the problem would be fixed bit it hasnt.

cat or muffler falling apart? my wifes car made a sandy rattle noise it was the muffler all disintigated inside

yea cheers mate im thinkin the cat then coz the mufflers pretty new. I just didnt want to go taking things apart for no reason.

is the exhaust coming into contact with the underside of the car in any areas?

Not that i no of when i got the exhaust done they welded a few holes up and and had a bit of look for me. Sounds like its probaly the inside of the cat falling apart not really a contact noise. Ill have a look 2morrow though and try sort it out.
