Just bought a vr ss

hey guys FINALLY baught my first 5 litre, pretty decent car, vr ss commodore, picked it up pretty cheap, only prolems are i need to replace the power steering pump as it leaks and pretty well out, the paint is pretty decent, interior is clean (will post pics soon)

Only main problem i cant work out atm is when i put my brakes on, the whole dash lights up, if anyone could point a few problem points, ill be able to look at it after work tomorrow.

the reason your dash lights up is because someone put a wrong bulb in one of the taillights. look at your brake/night light is usually the best place to start it should be dual filament not single. if it still lights up then take to an auto electrician

Same thing happened to me when there was a single globe in.

my old toyota hilux did this exact same thing... me and my brother tested all the tail lights... came down to some random wire that had no use what so ever being earthed wrong... we just cut it out.. but yeh maybe pull your tail lights out and test em?
