hi all, just a quick one.
have noticed that around my gearstick it always seems to pump out a bit of hot air - so today while pulling out centre console to try to get to the back ov the dvd palyer i noticed the gearstick was still hot.
there wasnt any insulation or anything so i guess thats why the heat from the gearstick makes the surrounding air quite hot.
What should i use to try and subdue the amount of hot air comming out?
this picture is of my soarer, i know its not a commodre my VS commodore has the same problem, both were converted to manual.
There's supposed to be rubber boots that seal around the gear stick.
The hot air that is getting sucked into the cabin through the shifter hole would be coming from the engine and exhausts more than the gearbox.
there is a small ring of rubber down the bottom of the shifter,
yeh the hot air comes through the gearbox though
