A mates VS was in the thickness of the melbourne storms, he came out from work and found it flooded upto the door handles. He's been asking me what to do with it, he's spent money on it already getting the fuel system, oil, etc flushed out.
anyone reckon this car has a chance of working properly again?
Only as an artificial reef. Seriously it would be worth more as a wreck IMO.
Same when a 4x4 drowns, he will forever have issues with it, definitely worth wrecking and not worrying about.
yeah thats what Ive told him lol. The only reason it runs at all is because its on gas. Doesn't run on petrol, he's wasting money in it.
All of the electrical connectors will start to corrode.
Time to say goodbye to it.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
^^^ thats what i was thinking, wont be long before all the electrics start giving up
if it was insured they would write it off straight away
but yeh it might not happen tomorrow but the electrical connections and circuits in the ecu will start to short out as they corrode causing nothing but problems
if he is going to keep it i would get another ecu / bcm to put in
