I took out my odometre to see why its not working and the plastic cog is missing a tooth so I'll have to replace it. Problem is now my speedo isnt working and I have no idea what I've done. The only thing I can think of is maybe I pushed the needle back on too much. Is that possible? Help!!!!
did you check to make sure you plugged all the connectors back in after you finished clocking it lol
^^ second that. must plug in the speedo for it to workbeen there, done that........

I did the same thing to my VN when i fixed the ODO, and the taco wouldn't move.
it was due to me putting the needle back on too hard. Just use a fork and gently remove the needle, and pop it back on gently and it shold be ok.
it could be co incidence, but also there is a wire that plugs into or around your fuel tank aswell that sends the info back to your speedo. Maybe check that? Althou even highly unlikely.....?????

try checking fuses under dash for easy fix
same thing (no speedo) happened to me after odometer replacement and in my case it was just the fuse
also blew same fuse when messing with speed sender at transmission end
Tried all the fuses all good, tried putting the needle on gently no luck at all. Gave up and went to the mechanic long story short he told me its stuffed and would be cheaper to replace then repair. Thanks for all your advice guys xx
