Ute Diff

Hi guys, i'm gonna replace the rear axle diff etc on my car, and have found a cheap one from a ute, will the ute one be the same as my sedan? The ute is a VS, my vr is a sedan.

No there different, Ute diffs and wagon diffs are the same (minus the plate for bump stops but that doesn't matter)
You cant put a ute or wagon diff in to a sedan, the mounting brackets for the shocks are different.
The ute diff has a pin that the shocks slide on to then a nut to hold them on there, where as the sedan has a bracket the shock sits in with a bolt through it to hold the shock in place.
