I've noticed some interesting behaviours from my engine/tranny.

i have a mace type enclosed pod cai, extractors and 2.5inch catback
2weeks ago I installed the 12mm plenum spacer, 4inch MAF ducting and relocated the MAF closer to the TB to make the bigger ducting fit easier...

i noticed a bit more torque and throttle response..

a couple of days ago, took her to the track and gave her a really good workout, for a few minutes..

ever since then, she's been very, very eager to rev... ecotec's meant to be grunter, mine's a rever...

she'll hold gear for longer, and rev much quicker, and has more torque at any given rpm.. on the highway, she'll be in 4th, but she changes to third really quickly and smoothly if accelerating or on hills.. she does this alot quicker than before.. which is a bit puzzling..

thought it might be a problem, but the fuel economy has actually improved!!!

any thoughts? ever since the day at the track it's like she's a different, improved car.
