    Red face Getting paint off

Ok so I made a total ass of myself and hit the rail that was around a garden bed in the main street not much damage but paint has rubbed off from the rail onto my car. Whats the best way to get it off without destroying my paint job?

Car polish should do the trick.

I suppose it depends on how bad it is, polish is usually enough from my experience. I was going to say that if polish didn't work then use a cutting compound followed by polish, but I forgot.

Sometimes you may need a machine to get it off... I think I have primer along the side of my car, it's just over spray dots but it's a bitch to get out...

Try Meguiar's Scratch X. It is a top quality product and a tube will last for ages, gets contaminants and slight scratches out.
