Which way do the rear upper control arms go, flat side out or flat side in?
I have non standard top control arms but in the gregorys manual it says install them with the lip facing outwards and the bolts must be installed with the heads facing the outside of the vehicle. The top control arm bolts tension up to 60 -75 Nm. You should get a gregorys manual if you want to do jobs like this. That way you know its installed exactly right and tensioned correctly.I wonder how many arms are put on backwards.Same with the bolts.
I do have manuals but i dont know what it means by "lips". Is that the "non flat" side?
The lipped side is the opposite side to the flat side.
