HSV enchanced V6 VS??

Howdy folks, I just bought a VS and on the dash above the glove box theres a badge that says 'HSV enchanced VS' and theres a sticker on the boot that says 'formula' which the guy I bought it off says is stock. Can anyone tell me what this means because I cant seem to find anything? Car was built in december 95.

It probably means the previous owner liked to stick badges and stickers everywhere.

The dash tags are on Ebay often and cost around $20. If there is no HSV tag on the fire wall - it probably is just stuck on for looks. ( I have one in my dash tag collection )

could be a hsv enhanced vehicle, but it must have a tag on the firewall like the guy above said... if it doesnt have the tag its fake.

also there was a vr-vs formula model... only a ever seen 2 around. was some option

Formula is a dealer pack option. I've only ever seen VL and VNs (guess it went on to VR/S)

He probably thought it was a genuine HSV model because theres a genuine VP Formula, the only formula thats a proper HSV model.

Well ive got the formula model Got a formula sticker below the commodore badge on the boot. Everything is original, only thing thats been sprayed is the bonet. Im a spray painter and had the guys at work to have a look and they said theres been no work done on her. Any ideas what the formula / HSV enchanced means? And there mightve been a badge but previous owner has sprayed engine bay and engine light green so mightve been removed.. Will post pics in another thread another day.

VL and VN formula's (and i guess VR/S aswell) are just a dealer pack. That is, a standard model car (could be exec/berlina/calais in VN model) with a sticker kit, sometimes a different dash/trim inserts, and a bodykit (was an SS kit on VNs).

There nothing special.

On the flip side, the VP Formula is a proper HSV model, with build tags etc. Worth alot more money in my eyes.

this will tell you if its hsv enhanced or not Authenticate Your HSV but from what it sounds like its was just a sticker
