fuel smell

got a few smell the last two days inside my vs clubby, and today it was pretty bad had to wind down all windows coz it really stunk! whats happening and how do i fix it??

First place I would be checking is the vent hoses between the fuel filler neck and the fuel tank......1 thick black hose and 2 clear hoses. Most likely they have gone hard and leaking fumes. Cheap to buy but I am not sure whether the tank has to be dropped to replace them. Other than that I have nothing.................

I had this in my VT 5 Litre, it was one of the 2 fuel hoses that connects the fuel rail to the the hose that comes from the tank and the return line. They perish with old age.

yeah i had some problem in my vs.
had to take out fuel tank coz the hoses on top could have perished.
cost me about 300 i think it was, for install + parts
