    Smile Vs repower???

I have a 99 model VS "S" ute that has now done 302,000k's and while it's still going along without any dramas it is starting to get a little tired, I also had a situation last year where the motor would not turn over and on checking I found a heap of water coming out of one of the cylinders when I pulled the plug out, but after giving it a heap of Loctite this seems to have come good but I don't know for how long?
Anyway what I am trying to find out is, "What other motors can I put in without to much trouble or cost?" "am I able to put say a VT motor into this car?", [as I say I have an ecotec and auto at the moment and even with all the k's I have done everything still works fine, aircon, cruise etc]
I don't want to spend a lot of money but the motors I am seeing at the wreckers out of the same model cars have a lot of k's which is why I was wondering about the VT perhaps???,
    "Any Idea's???"

Yeah VT motor should be fine, just make sure you change the different parts between the VS ecotec and the VT ecotec, i.e. air con etc

if you need any spare parts I'm selling some.

Make sure you get the ECU with the new motor....if you live in the big smoke try the auctions when they sell damaged write-offs....sometimes these are low mileage and only have minor damage. Good Luck
