Hey guys i might be swapping my vp Ute for a vr sedan and $1000. its silver auto runs well would it be a far trade and worth it?
The VR would want to be in exceptional condition to justify that deal.
It is in pretty good nick needs re clearing on roof ad only one little dint on guard. Its a executive if that makes any difference. had new auto 2 years ago and always garaged
See what some others say on here before making a decision.Utes always seem to hold their value better than sedans.I would contemplate a straight swap if the VR is in good condition but no cash.(not that much anyway)It also depends what condition your ute is in too.
he offered the cash that's why I'm interested coz it will give me sum money so spendbecause i wouldn't mind stato seats and chrome window trim and ill see what the other blokes say to
. My ute runs fine and its Manuel so that makes a lil bit off difference
Sorry mate ,didnt take enough notice when I read it.That would be an ok deal.Just go over the car and check it out real good.Check to see if theres coolant in the radiator or water. These engines can blow inlet manifold gaskets. Not hard to fix, just a pain in the you know what and a reason a lot of people sell them.
thanks brettand yeah i will go over it i no the guy and he is pritty honest when it comes to this sort of stuff
IMO its now worth it for a VR exec. It would be for a berlina or calais, but a vr exec is hardly a desireable or fun car. Atleast not as fun as a manual vp with FE2s (like your ute)
thanks for the reply. and well the ute is fun well alot off fun lol. but its the practical side off thing what would be good about a sedan but mybe i should hold out for a berlin or calais but i need one about the same value as the ute for i can sell or swap and well one that dnt need anything done i can just get in and drive
nah not worth it at all... VP ute = $5,000+ VR sedan = $2000
