A high flow catalytic converter will help with less back pressure.
I put in a High flow catalytic in my VX-Spack (RedBack Made in Oz) And was a lot better then the standard Cat.
I got a bit more bottom end power.
I don’t know which set up will better though twin or single?

You will not need a tune by just replacing the cat to a high flow one. It will let the motor breath better less restriction.
Don’t expect big gains like 10kw you might get a gain of 3-5 KW.(But it all counts)But if you know your car and how it drives you will notice the difference.
Make sure you get a metal type not a ceramic type.
I would suggest a Oz made cat. Because Magnaflow dont have CFM ratings. Try Metal matrix / redback / Catco is not bad.
