Just got this rigg a few weeks ago. Holden Commodore VS ute 3.8L V6 very happy with it, in preemo condition and runs like a dream Interior and exterior well looked after ill get some photos soon for the inside and engine bay.
Being perfectly honest i dont know a whole lot to do with Cars and mods so thats why im here. Been looking into a few mods that i could do to the ute but just need some other advice, Being a V6 i have been hearing its not worthe getting like extractors, cat converts..etc etc
Im not gonna change it to a V8 bit costly just wandering what are some good upgrades to get it a bit shaped up. i was thinkin maybe exhaust, lowering and just extractors but i was told of another way to just get a 'Raptor supercharger for it and leave it as that but yeah open for opinions![]()

Im considering loweing it, but not to the point when it just scrapes as i usually have to park on curbs and that with work on a construction site. Previous owner reckons he lowerd it slightly judging by the pics what do you reckon? if he did it wasnt much but still looks good
get some high ratio roller rockers from yella terra, a cold air enclosure from MACE and as said above a tuned memcal too, a full exhuast will make the gains a bit better but if u dont want an exhuast u can still do them

ive got the street rockers with 1.98.1 they are also well worth the money prob the best gain out of all the mods ive done, they cost a bit of coin however

could possibly be FE2 suspension. Looks like a good buy though nice and straight good paint. take the v6 badges off the side

Would mind a hard top cover for the tray, anyone know what there worthe? only got a soft top atm its a brand newey came with it, so looks alrite not in a rush for that just curious as how much they are, and would probably have to spray one unless i can find same colour. Do they fit without having any troubles? like just bolt on or what not
For a hard top depending if you go for a fibreglass one or not you're looking at $800-$1000+ for a brand new one. But if you don't mind respraying one to match your ute a cheaper option is to keep checking ebay/trading post etc for a second hand one, should fit no problems if you get one designed for a vp/vr/vs ute.

Another small question: Power Button not 100% on how it actually works so is it worthe Running it all the time or not?
pwr button also locks out 4th gear, dont use it if u goin cruisin ova 80kph 4 a while
