Default Installing Power windows without loom.

    Hey,
Atm my car dosent have Power windows or cruise control, i was considering going for universal kits for both, but i would rather OEM.
The problem is im pretty sure i don't have the loom. (I dont have keyless either).
Is Cruise control and Power windows on the same Loom? If it is what is this loom called, and what other ones would i need to proceed with power windows?

I have already searched but couldnt find what to do if you dont have the BCM

I cant help too much on the cruise because this is something im sorting myself at the moment, but as for the power windows, use this link: How to install Power Windows Power windows on a vs is controlled by the bcm and there's a good chance your bcm will be a low series and wont support this. By far the easiest way to do it is to install it as was done on the earlier vn and vp's which used a separate control module to control the windows, and therefore bypasses the bcm (as the above link shows how to do). I could supply some of the parts to do it this way if you're interested? I've done 4 vs's this way.

    VN/VP power window module
    VN/VP Power window Loom
VN-VS Power window Rear switches (because its a ute)
    VN-VS Power window Motors

Thats correct. Everything installs the same way as it would standard in a vs, except you'll be using the vn/vp control box instead of running it through the bcm. have a look at the wiring diagram I posted in the link above for vp front windows only. This is how you will have to wire it. This still gives you all the usual features such as drivers window auto down and the windows regs will still have power to them for 30sec after you turn the ignition off.
