    Default Disarming the Imobiliser

    I have just replace the motor in my car and want to permantley demobilise they Imobiliser, Which wires do I disconnect or bypass

    You can get it "turned off" with another ECU chip thats been reprogrammed to disable VATS (Vehicle Anti Theft System).Theres no other way that I know of.Maybe permanently wire a programmed keyhead to the key reader and stick it up under the dash.The trouble is the BCM(Body Control Module) needs the security code from the key so it can tell the ECU its ok to start.If the ECU doesnt get a signal from the BCM,the engine wont start.Thats why its not just a case of joining or disconnecting some wires etc.

    I did read somewhere on here that you can get a new ecu chip programmed to ignore the security code check. Have a search around.
