vs spluttering wen u put the foot down, an hear poping sound

hi there, i have a 96 vs commodore equipe, i recently drove it to town , it was fine but wen i left town it started to splutter an cough, wen i put the foot down it just misses really bad an wont gain any speed, i can hear a poping noise every so often, i have changed the coil packs, the module they sit on, the fuel filter, plugs an have had no sucess, it is really driving me insane so if any one could give me any advice it would be awsome cheers

Hi,try checking for any logged error codes.Heres a link to a post on how to do that if you dont know how.Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)Also has the air filter been changed recently.It could be blocked.

Did you fill your fuel tank when in town?

Did you replace the ignition leads when you did the coils, plugs and DFI?
