putting turbo on vs need advice

Hey people just chasing some advice on putting a turbo on my vs wagon.A mate gave me a turbo today as i dont know much about them i want to know the easiest and cheapest way to change my exaust to suit or maybe you know someone who has something laying around that they want to get rid of.The turbo is brand new im not sure what the parts are but where the exaust bolts up it is a t4 but i think the part with the fan in it is a t3 if that makes sense any info would be great thanks

hi mate i been goin this way for a while now and there are a few things to be done. but if you want to use you standard motor that good but you got make sure it good ( rebuilt or not a shitload of ks ). but any way a t4 turbo set up is the best for for these motors and for single setup i got recommended and t04e or t70. and for the exhust manifold you can get it made at most exhust shop out of steam pipe use the standard cast exhust probly not the best idea due to cracks. as for what is needed for the motor here is a list of what to be done

* a decent sizs intercooler and custom pipes
* roller rockers or high ratio rockers
* need your ecu remaped to knock out the timing out abit
* upgrade the fuel system (injectors) just get some 5L or l67 injectors they are the same
* and that sould safely run 10psi
