    Default Radiators VR to VS.

    just a quick question regarding radiators, are they the same in VR to VS and/or are they interchangeable?

    I took my VR rad out to put in my VS, and it runs fine.
    On the 7th day, God created Holden, then on the 8th day, God created Ford, to keep idiots out of Holden's.

    Pretty much, as long as it's from, and to, the same engine/transmission set-up(eg: both V6/ both Auto), will fit straight in.
    They both mount the same way, also the Auto cooler lines are in the same place.
    Note: You will still need to use the fan assembly from the VS, to the VR rad(the bolt holes are in the same location), because the framework for the VS fan is different to VR, to accommodate the power steering pump bottle, and because the wire connector for the VS fan is different to VR.

    cheers mate, i thought they would be pretty much the same shouldnt be to much trouble then

    No worries mate.
    Yeah it's pretty easy and straight forward, since they are both so similar.
    You'l be able to check once they're both out, but if they're from the same size engine, then they both should be the same 2 core radiator.
