Rough as ass through gears..

My vr has always been abit slow throught its gears but lately its been getting worse. Through all the gears if i redline it instead of siply changing into the next gear it seems to go into neutral and rev its ass off before changing into the next gear.

Short of getting a new gear box is there anything that i can do to help this problem?

if its slipping like that the only cure is rebuild or replace mate.

I'm guessing you're talking about an auto? How long since it's had a service?

lol.. Yeah, it makes it hard.
Check your auto fluid level, make sure its a the Full mark when it's hot, and check the colour, it should be a nice clear red colour, not dark or brownish.

I guess next pay day ill go get a service kit and redo the big jig cant hurt. Should have done it when i done oil and filters and shit haha

Throw a can of "transmission conditioner" into the oil - this will make the clutches grip better temporarily and give you some breathing space till you replace the transmission. Costs less than a bucket of KFC.

Alright then ill do that
Was going to service my tanny today but really had no idea what to do lol.. and all my mates were at work, sucks being only one left at school.
I assume chuck it into tranny oil not engine oil haha
