Smallest dot on Tailgate

I was backing the ute up to my brothers work trailer the other week and after gettin in an out 6 or 7 times finnaly reached the tow ball but he had a nut that sticks out of the tow ball the tailgate just slightly touched it, didnt scratch paint but pushed a small section in cant even see it but i know its there.. and i was devvod lol

How do i go bout well buffing it out? i hear i might be able to just take the back panel of the tail gate and just push it back out but any ideas would help

yeah should be i just want it out i can touch up the minor paint bit at anytime cant see it unless really close up

wouldent try tap it out it could dis colour paint cuase the metal is streached
