transmission problems??? vs 5ltr

hey, i have a vs s2 clubsport which is having real problems with gear changing, it is very slow to change gears from 1st to second and it revs out before it does so, my vt ss used to do the same but then i would get the kick back and a burst of power whereas the vs doesnt do that. It is fine changing from 2nd to 3rd and u actually dont even feel the change, i am guessing it could be trans needing a service or maybe an issue with the injectors. The previous owner has fitted a rather ricey pod filter to it, could this have something to do with it at all... (the pod filter is coming off eeeewwww!!!) any ideas would be great thanks. oh and its auto...

Sounds like the 1->2 shift solenoid in the trans might need replacing.

1-2 shift solenoid or tps are common, check for codes that would be a start,

ended up being the number 2 oxygen sensor
