Are you going to amp them? If not they won't pump at all. If yes, what amp?

Here are some amp suggestions if you haven't got one.

    $257 Ryda Car Audio - Soundstream PCX4.360 Picasso - Amplifier($256.85)
    $259 Ryda Car Audio - Pioneer GM-6400F 4 Channel Car Amplifier($258.85)

If your planning to have a sub later, then don't bother with a set of 6x9" speakers. Will be pointless.

I would say Kenwood, even better some 7x10 if they still make them.

But as said above if you want to get a sub just get some decent 6 or 6 and a half inches.

I can't see any 7x10" speakers on Kenwood's site. Also the cheapest speaker I put above is still capable of more power than Kenwood's strongest.

DLS dont have 7x10s I got my DLS 6x9s from car toys they were about $300, just because the Kenwood 7x10s dont have as much rated power as other brands doesnt mean there not going to be better or louder lol.

Have Pioneer 6x9's in the back & Pioneer splits up front powered off a Kenwood amp & they go off. Also have a Kenwood sub in custom Kenwood box powered by a Rockford Fosgate amp.

Mate you can get good gear for cheap if your patient & look around. I got my splits for $199 marked down from $499 cuz they were on clearence for next years stock. I got my Pioneer 6x9's off me mate for free who fitted 6in JVC's in their place. My sub & amp off my boss for $200. The Kenwood amp & headunit was in the car already when I bought it off me mate. My car had Sony 6x9's in the rear but they sounded like shit - keep away from em.

Make sure you sound deaden where you can too. Makes a difference

All up my sound system owes me $400 i think (not including getting it professionally re-wired) & it pulls at least 116dB (Thats as high as my phone can measure lol)
