the sensor needs to be fitted in either pod enclosure or you could fit it into the intake pipe after the POD filter. pod will work fine as long as it is enclosed like the MACE setup

U can buy a pod adapter on ebay etc, that has a slot for the sensor.

I just have that sensor disconnected, just takes a few seconds before the engine light goes off when I start it.

im building a box the similar to the ones sold by MACE, il be putting the IAT sensor in the box itself just the same as a MACE is. it wont restrict airflow by being in the pipework. iv also removed the window washer bottle and replacing it with another alswere in engine bay so i can route extra cold air ducting from under my box. ive got a large GREEN pod, they are suposed to outperform KandN. should holpfuly fix my heatsoak issues i have with the super6 cai.

    haha herd that one before,

i had the standerd box, then brought a CIA duct off ebay for around $70 shipped, chucked it on, took about 20mins, piss easy. then one day i was bored so i got a cheap pod filter and made i lil mini shield for it, abit dodgey but seems to work fine, chucked the senser just under the pod drilled into the metal there. I made my self a pipe to atatch the pod form pvc piping and also cut back the duct joiner so the pod has some source of cool air, kinda haha. like i said a lil doge atm just until i get some more time to make a beter one, or prob go back with the standerd box with k&n panel filter, but u gotta love that induction noise form the pod

total BS. a enclosed POD will outperform the stock airbox period. if it is enclosed (which means if's properly supported) it means it's legal so no issues there either

i have done back to back tests of the standard airbox with super6 CAI Vs the MACE pod setup and the MACE one wins. i have data logs that prove the MACE CAI means a cooler intake charge.

    cooler intake charge = power

a pod without an enclosure, you can feel the respoiveness if you run a big pipe, and put it over the pod to completely cover it, then run the pipe underneath to the front bumper, cheapo CAI
