Hey there peoples .. I have a 93 vr , started to hear a taping noise when I turned a righthand corner . and then would hear it driving straight ,and also started to viberate after that, I came to the conclusion it could be a uni Joint in drive shaft , how ever in removing drive shaft , and inspecting the uni's I only found that the rear uni seemed to be a little tight when moved from side to side but was free while straight . could this of been the cause ?? ... After removing the uni I didnt see anything wrong with rollaberrings or caps . front uni seems to look and feel ok moves freely and dont seem to have any play it shouldnt have . with limited finance's and no means of getting to repco I'd prefer to get the right part , the first time (no choice to replace rear one now removed ) but
I'd be looking more towards a front wheel bearing although you really need to give more info - vibrates at all speeds?...does it disappear when you touch the brakes....does it come from the front or back....is vibration felt thru steering wheel or accelerater....etc.
Also I'd check all the wheel nuts for tightness. Welcome to the forum by the way.
