Default vt sedan tank in to vr wagon

i was wondering if a sedan tank from a VT would fit in place of a vr wagon tank. looking at pictures they look similar but un sure about dimensions. wiring up the pump and running lines shouldn't be a problem.

    mmmm.....maybe.

VT has the inlet/outlet and wiring at the top and the filler neck is part of the tank. May need some cutting of the floor.

    Why the swap??

newer tank better material being plastic. therefore no rust
my wagon i have just bought has rust and crap all through the tank. 3rd flush and still have minimal rust deposits in the tank.
also i cant find a tank anywhere with out the risk of it being stuffed also

    .
If the vt tank won't fit get itself some if this PPC
it does an awsome job of cleaning ur tank and then it comes with a coating for the inside of ur tank so it can not rust
