ABS Light n beep

Hey all, my abs light is on in my vr calais, there is also an annoying beep which sounds every 2-3mins, the abs is working. the beep is doing my head in, any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

You can do a test on the ABS just like you can do the ECU test under the dash on the ALDL connector,instead of bridging pins 5 and 6 like you would do for the ECU test.(the test flashes error codes on the engine light on the dash).You bridge pins 5 and 12 on the ALDL connector and this will flash up (on the ABS dash light)any stored error codes that are for the ABS system,If you are not familiar with doing this kind of test,here is a link on how to do these tests,theres some excellent pictures down near the bottom of the posts in the link as well.Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)

I'm only guessing, but if the ABS light is on, the ABS is not working. Try disconnecting the battery for 30 secs after doing the tests Brett suggested.
