can someone tell me how to remove the T-Bar from the gear stick in a vr auto
From memory, the leather portion of the t-bar needs to be pushed forwards and down to loosen it for removal. The actual gear change portion that you lift to change gears has a small roll pin on the side that you need to hammer out with a punch or something similar to allow you to slide that part off over the top. And don't lose the pin! Hope this helps.

Because you're a newer member, I feel the need to clarify this point... You don't need to remove the actual t-bar to remove the trim.

If your swapping a gearbox and you don't know what trim is, are you sure it shouldn't be at a mechanic?
